Top 20 video games of all time! #19-#17

#19- Super Mario World (GBA remake)

Though the original was great too, I am giving this to the GBA remake as they touched up the game in small ways to make it a little bit better, like making Luigi different from Mario, giving them some words to say, some minor graphics touch ups, and made the game portable. Super Mario world is an incredibly fun game to play for people of all skill levels. The game starts out easy and gets to be more difficult as time goes on with tons of hidden extras for those who search for them. On top of that there are some secret levels for truly good players to test their skill on if they dare. I did beat them though I may have lost some of my sanity in doing so... One of the few games I have 100% completed, Super Mario world!

#18-   Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance

The third Fire emblem game I played and probably the second easiest as well. Path of radiance put me in control of a young mercenary named Ike as he went about his life in his father's mercenary company. Things ramp up when he meets a princess who is forced to flee her kingdom to stay alive. They eventually take back the kingdom during the long, eventful story with a cast of characters that demand to be noticed, and a great music track to back everything up. Path of radiance took everything I loved from fire emblem blazing sword, and brought it to the next level.

#17- One Piece: Unlimited World Red

Though some people may think I am a bit biased toward the one piece series as a whole (I admit I am). There is still no denying the fact this is a solid one piece game and it holds it's own against other games fairly well too. With a battle system that reminds me somewhat of kingdom hearts and a total of 20 playable characters from the one piece universe, this game has something for everyone who loves one piece. This is the closest I have found to replicating the feel I get from watching one piece series, and it is even multi-player to boot as well!

Top 20 video games of all time!

Been a few months since my last post, but I do plan to continue this with some top 10-20 lists for my favorite board and video games. I am removing Pokemon and it's spin-offs from this list due to it taking up to much space. I will start with my top 20 video games of all time. Lets get Started!

20. Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword

The first game released in the USA in the fire emblem saga. This game was my first experience in the world of fire emblem strategy games. It was a quite the shock to my system. At first I really did not understand how the game really worked bar the fact that people stayed dead when killed in battle. I used Marcus for everything because he was incredibly strong in the beginning not realizing I can not get away with using just one guy the whole game. This resulted in me being confused and frustrated at first. As time went on I began to figure out more of how the system worked and how to play the game and raise characters. It became rather addictive to beat this game, using oddball characters, or limits imposed upon myself. The story is great and the sub-stories in support conversations add so much depth to all of the characters. There is no end the praise I can give to this game. The only problem is the steep difficulty curve for new players.

Sorry about the lack of updates

I have taken a bit of a break from fire emblem and due to my internship I have had no time for posting in this blog. When I have some time I will begin a top 10-20 list of my favorite board or video games. What would you rather there be a list on?
